Peter Croker is an Australian Golf
Professional and the 2008 Victorian Teaching Pro of the Year . The 59 year old
professional was an Australian tour player for 10 years, who then shifted his
interests to teaching in 1981 and has since written numerous articles, features
and books on the subject of golf instruction. His unique instruction system
features the PUSH - PUSH method called the Croker Golf System. This method has graced
the cover of Golf Digest and been featured in numerous golfing publications
worldwide.
The Croker Golf System that has been adapted as a
method of choice by countless amateurs, professional players and teachers is
now available to US golf enthusiasts via online and web discussions
In addition to founding and directing the CROKER
GOLF SYSTEM - Path To Better Golf Program, Peter is the former Director of
Education from Henry-Griffitts, Australia, and currently has his home bases in
Australia at The Dunes Golf Links, Rye, Victoria and the Golf Science Center,
Melbourne, Victoria and in Europe at Achensee Golf Club, Austria and
Sotogrande, Spain.
Peter croker started caddying at Royal Melbourne alongside Stuart Ginn and Bob Shearer. As an amateur won the Queensland Junior Amateur Championship in 1969. As a professional was awarded Rookie of the year in 1971 after finishing in the top 10 in 3 of the first PGA Tour events. In 1976 Peter lost in a playoff in the Australian PGA Championship to Billy Dunk. Ran 3rd in the Malaysian Open in 1976. Has won over 30 PGA Professional Tournaments worldwide. Has shot 62 in the New Zealand PGA Championship in the late 70’s .
Awarded PGA teacher of the year in 1997 in Victoria. Had teachers in Sandy Kurceba Teacher of the year Vancouver Canadian PGA, Glenn Deck won the PGA Teacher of the Year Southern California, Washington, Cindy Jones won the South Carolina PGA Teacher of the Year. Sue Kaffenburg Massichuesus PGA teacher of the year and won North East LPGA teacher of the year, Alan Renz is the number 1 in lessons given in America using the Croker Golf System. Jason Laws won the NSW PGA teacher of the Year Award utilising the principles used in the Croker Golf System.
